NEW PROGRAMS

During the week of October 19, 2009, small appliances will be collected curbside on your regular pick up day. Customers are asked to put their small appliances in their top recycling bin and a special truck will be dispatched to pickup these items. Small appliances with electrical cords are accepted.

Latex paint and motor oil (5 gallons per household per month) will now be accepted at the recycling Monday through Saturday, all day.

Did you know removing recyclables from curbside bins other than your own is against the law?

If you see someone removing recycling on your street, please take the following action:

• Do not confront the person.
• Call the Pacifica  police non-emergency number at 650-738-7314. When calling have the following details available:
  • License plate number of the vehicle
  • Full description of all people involved
  • Proper address or street name where activity was observed
